My friend Evan is walking cross-country. Will you kick in a few bucks to help fund it?
We are creating a trail, a how-to book, and an online checkpoint-by-checkpoint guide to traveling across America, rating each area by the quality of its climate, walkability, provisions and lodging, friendliness of people, and technical/communications infrastructure. Every 10 miles, we will create a checkpoint by “blazing” the trail with Adventure Access Trail stickers. The location of these checkpoints, along with descriptions and ratings, will be available online.
A cross-country walk is difficult enough without having to worry about every last detail or unknown variable. The Adventure Access Trail enables adventurers to be informed about these logistical aspects so that they can focus on the fun and interesting challenges of walking across America.
